Big Bang‘s
Daesung opened up regarding his car accident that took place
last year.
Daesung and fellow member
G-Dragon
guest-featured on the February 20th episode of
SBS
‘
Healing Camp‘ to talk about their scandals that had a
significant impact on their careers.
When asked how he felt when he heard the news of the driver’s death, Daesung
answered, “
I couldn’t think at all, because I never thought that something
like this would ever happen to me. I was just so deeply sorry for
everything.”
“
The company asked if I was going to go home, but I didn’t have the
courage to face my parents, so I stayed in my dorm room,” he continued.
“
I didn’t even feel hungry. I couldn’t focus. I was just so sorry about what
happened, I just cried all the time.”
He admitted, “
In my room, I read all the comments that people wrote
online.” When asked which comments hurt him the most, he said, “
I think
‘murderer’ was the word that really hurt me the most. That’s when I learned how
heartless and cruel that word really was. I even had thoughts about
suicide,” he confessed, breaking the hearts of everyone on the set.
In related news, Daesung and G-Dragon who have both been away from the music
scene due to their unfortunate circumstances will be making a long-awaited
comeback with the rest of the Big Bang members with a new album on February
29th.
